1 He says so! I believe it!
I cannot doubt His word,
Each promise has been tested,
I’m trusting in my Lord;
I find a strength provided
For needs of ev’ry day,
I know that He protects me
From dangers of the way.
Refrain:
I cannot doubt His promise
For His word is true and tried;
He says so! I believe it!
And my soul is satisfied.
2 He says so! I believe it!
My heart is filled with joy,
He gives a hope eternal
Which nothing can destroy;
Upon each cloud which threatens
I see a rainbow bright,
Tho’ shadows may surround me
I find in Him my light. [Refrain]
3 He says so! I believe it!
I find Him just the same
In time of grief or gladness,
And so I praise His name
Thro’ all the countless ages
His words of truth endure,
He never will forsake me,
His promises are sure. [Refrain]
