Come This Way

Author: David H. King Hymnal: The Cyber Hymnal #1015 First Line: As I drift upon life's billows Refrain First Line: Come this way, come this way Lyrics: 1. As I drift upon life’s billows, Longing for the light of day; I can almost hear from Heaven, Loved ones singing, Come this way. Refrain Come this way, come this way, Here is light, and joy, and peace; Come this way, come this way, And your sorrows all shall cease. 2. And methinks I hear my mother, Calling from the other shore, With a voice so sweet and tender, Far above the billows’ roar: [Refrain] 3. Hark! I hear the voice of Jesus, Wafted from a heav’nly land; I can almost see His glory, And the beckoning of His hand. [Refrain] 4. Oh! the bliss, the joy of meeting Loved ones in that mighty throng; Joining with them in their singing, Of the everlasting song. [Refrain] Languages: English Tune Title: [As I drift upon life's billows]
