Henry Ames Blood, from in Temple, New Hampshire. He was a graduate of Dartmouth college. After leaving college he spent a few years in teaching school, when he accepted a situation in the Department of State of Washington,D. C. He is the author of a history of his native town, as well as many poems, and some dramas.
