Representative Text

1 When the hosts redeemed to Zion come,
With gladness and with song,
And upon the fields of glory stand,
A mighty, countless throng;
And the ransomed ones of ev'ry age
Shall all the ransomed see,
O! what words of greeting shall be said,
What a meeting that will be!

Chorus:
What a meeting that will be,
What a meeting that will be,
What a meeting that will be!
When the saints all meet, and in glory greet,
What a meeting that will be!

2 When the patriarchs and prophets who
So fully God believed,
Who "in faith all died, not having then
The promises received,"
Shall behold each promise there fulfilled,
And faith's glad ending see,
O! what words of greeting shall be said,
What a meeting that will be! [Chorus]

3 When the Bride made glorious shall stand
Before the great I Am,
With her garments wash'd and robes made white,
In blood of Calvary's Lamb;
When the saved their Saviour there shall meet,
Upon the crystal sea,
O! what words of greeting shall be said,
What a meeting that will be! [Chorus]
