Representative Text

1 When the dark clouds round you gather,
When life’s mist obscures the way,
Christ will set the joybells ringing
If you will His Word obey.

Refrain:
Joybells ringing in your soul today;
Joybells ringing in your soul today;
To the Lord surrender,
Let him take control;
He will set the joybells ringing in your soul.

2 In the time of earthly sorrow
When all earthly comfort fails,
He will set the joybells ringing
If His will in you prevails. [Refrain]

3 Doubt no more, but trust Him fully,
Let Him be your Friend and Guide;
He will set the joybells ringing
If you in His love abide. [Refrain]

4 He will satisfy each longing,
Every burden He will share;
He will set the joybells ringing
Will give peace beyond compare. [Refrain]

5 He has riches everlasting
In the storehouse of His love;
He will set the joybells ringing
Till you reach the Home above. [Refrain]
