Representative Text

1 When my work is done and the vict’ry won,
When I come to the end of my way,
There is joy for me through eternity
In the land of endless day.

Refrain:
Joy for me, my work all done,
Joy for me, life’s vict’ry won;
On that morning bright in that land of light,
‘Twill be joy, great joy for me.

2 When the day shall break and I shall awake,
When my Savior in glory I see;
I will offer praise, glad hosannas raise
For His wondrous love to me. [Refrain]

3 In a glad new song with the ransomed throng
Where there never shall come any night,
I shall sing God’s praise through unending days,
In the mansions of delight. [Refrain]

4 Those who left us here ‘mid our flowing tear,
We shall meet on the bright, golden shore;
All bereavement past, we shall meet at last,
Reunited evermore. [Refrain]
