Representative Text

1 When life’s toils are o’er,
Some day soon,
On that golden shore
Some day soon;
Loved ones we then shall meet,
Some day soon,
Seated at Jesus’ feet,
Some day soon.

Refrain:
When life’s toil is o’er,
Some day soon,
On the golden shore,
Some day soon.

2 Free from earthly care,
Some day soon,
In that haven fair
Some day soon;
By our dear Master’s side,
Some day soon,
Forever to abide,
Some day soon. [Refrain]

3 Gathered ‘round the throne,
Some day soon,
Knowing as we’re known,
Some day soon;
Our joy will be complete,
Some day soon,
As we His praise repeat,
Some day soon. [Refrain]
