Representative Text

1 We are marching, we are marching on with gladness,
We are marching in the army of the Lord;
Let us swell the mighty throng.
Onward now, with joyful song,
In His service there is glad and sure reward.

Refrain:
We are marching, marching onward;
Marching, marching on with shout and song;
In the sunshine pure and sweet,
With the roses at our feet,
We are marching on, a glad rejoicing throng.

2 We are singing, we are singing of the mercy
That enfolds the children in His arms of love;
Let us come to Him today;
Tender words we’ll hear Him say,
Words of welcome from our blessed Friend above. [Refrain]

3 We are trusting, we are trusting in our Father,
In the goodness that shall follow all our days,
If His gospel we obey,
If we’re faithful day by day,
He will fill our lives with happiness and praise. [Refrain]
