The love that never forgets

Representative Text

1 ‘Tis the promise of God that he will not forget
The children he holdeth dear;
His arm is strong and his love is sure,
So we need never doubt or fear.

Refrain:
Oh, the love of God is a wonderful love,
Love that will never forget,
Love that will never forget!
Though dark the day, and though weary the way,
God’s love, wonderful love,
His love will never forget.

2 ‘Tis the promise of God that he will not forget;
Rest close to his wounded side;
He bids you come to his waiting arms,
Oh, his wonderful love is wide! [Refrain]

3 ‘Tis the promise of God that he will not forget;
Be sure in the darkest hour;
Lean hard on him, he will never fail,
We may trust in his love and pow’r. [Refrain]
