Representative Text

1 They shall shine as the stars, they who follow the King;
Winning souls unto him, precious jewels they bring;
They shall lay down the cross, when he calls them above,
To receive their bright crown thro’ his infinite love.

Chorus:
They shall shine as the stars,
They shall shine as the stars,
On forever and ever in glory divine,
As the stars they shall shine.

2 They shall shine as the stars, they who trust in his grace,
And believing his word ev’ry promise embrace;
As they labor and pray, and his goodness record,
Many wand’ring afar they shall turn to the Lord. [Chorus]

3 They shall shine as the stars in that wonderful day,
When the shadows of time swiftly vanish away;
When they stand by his side, and the King says, “Well done,”
They shall shine in that land where the Lamb is the Sun. [Chorus]
