Representative Text

1 The Savior calls to you and me,
Come, little ones, come;
Oh, what a loving Friend he’ll be,
Come, little ones, come.
He died to take our sins away,
He lives to bless us ev’ry day,
He’ll help us trust him and obey,
Come, little ones, come.

Chorus:
Come, little ones, come to Jesus,
Come, little ones, come.
For whether we waken, or whether we sleep,
Jesus his children will tenderly keep;
Come, little ones, come to Jesus,
Come, little ones, come.

2 He’ll comfort us when we are sad,
Come, little ones, come;
His precious love will make us glad,
Come, little ones, come.
He’ll help us overcome the wrong,
And make us pure, and true, and strong,
He’ll fill our hearts with joyful song,
Come, little ones, come. [Chorus]

3 His loving Spirit he’ll bestow,
Come, little ones, come;
Till more and more like him we’ll grow,
Come, little ones, come.
He’ll take us gently by the hand,
And lead us on, a happy band,
Until we see the Shining Land,
Come, little ones, come. [Chorus]
