Representative Text

1 Tell the good news, the wondrous story,
Bethlehem’s Babe is born today!
Angels proclaim the news from glory,
Peace and good will to men, they say.

Refrain:
Tell the good news, O shout the glad tidings,
Yes, and be sure the world shall hear;
From the dark prison He hath arisen,
Tell the good news both far and near.

2 Tell the good news, the gladsome story,
Jesus for sinners came to die!
Conquering death He rose to glory,
Dwelleth a Prince of Peace on high. [Refrain]

3 Tell the good news to ev’ry nation,
Sing it with joy the world around,
Jesus has purchased full salvation,
Pardon and peace in Him are found. [Refrain]
