Supremo Dios

Representative Text

1 Supremo Dios, te ruego por mi patria; gobierna con tu mano de justicia.
Seas honrado y glorificado
en toda la nación.

2 Hincha los ríos, fecundiza el campo,
llena las huertas, el taller visita;
Y a todo hombre dale de tus bienes
lo que es menester.

3 Para tu reino sea nuestra patria;
tu voluntad la ley que veneremos;
La cruz de Cristo la gloriosa enseña
que tremolemos.

4 Sobre la tierra que por patria amada
te plugo darnos, libertades brillen.
Y no consientas que se forjen nunca
yugos de esclavitud.

5 Caigan las aras de mentidos dioses
que al hombre vana salvación le brindan.
Sé tú el Dios nuestro, y el debido culto
todos te rindan hoy.
