[Response:]
Strong is God's love for us, Alleluia.

R
We know that all things work together for good
for those who love God,
who are called according to God's purpose.
What then are we to say about these things?
If God is for us, who is against us?
God, who did not withhold God's own Son,
but gave him up for all of us--
will God not also give us all things with him?
Who will separate us from the love of Christ?
Will hardship, or distress,
or persecution, or famine,
or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors
through him who loved us.
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life,
nor angels, nor rulers,
nor things present, nor things to come,
nor powers, nor height, nor depth,
nor anything else in all creation,
will be able to separate us from the love of God
in Christ Jesus our Lord. R

Schwab and reworked the Jerusalem Bible Psalter. Their joint effort produced the Psautier de la Bible de Jerusalem and recording Psaumes, which won the Gran Prix de L' Academie Charles Cros in 1953. The musical settings followed four years later. Shortly after, the Gregorian Institute of America published Twenty-four Psalms… Go to person page >
