Let me follow in the footprints

Representative Text

1 So many would hinder me here,
Cause me to doubt and fear;
I need the pray'rs of someone who cares
To help me to find the way.

Refrain:
Let me follow in the footprints of my Lord
That my soul may sometime gain the great reward,
Let me travel in the straight and narrow way
As the will of Christ, my Master, I obey;
Let me labor in the vineyard here below,
Help me spread the gospel message where I go,
With the purpose of my Savior I am in accord,
In the footprints of my Lord.

2 Don't tell me my faith is in vain,
Nothing in heav'n to gain;
Look at my plight and teach me aright
To help me to find the way. [Refrain]

3 The shadows of sin would make dim,
Glimpses I catch of Him
Who in the light that shines thru the night
To help me to find the way. [Refrain]
