Representative Text

1 Patiently we toil along
We will gather by and by,
In the summer land of song,
In the blessed home on high.

Refrain:
By and by, yes, by and by
Gain the home for which we long,
Dwell with Jesus by and by,
In the summer land of song.

2 With the ransom’d host above
Looking on our Savior’s face,
Sing the story of His love,
Sing the riches of His grace. [Refrain]

3 Hallelujah! by and by,
Near our Lord in white array,
We shall find a cloudless sky,
With the tear-drops wiped away. [Refrain]
