Representative Text

1 Onward now, rejoicing,
Children of the King;
Let our happy voices
Grace and Glory sing—
Grace that daily keeps us
In the course begun—
Glory that is promised,
When the race is run.

Refrain:
Onward now, onward now,
Children of the King;
With our happy voices
Grace and Glory sing.

2 Onward now, for Jesus
Leads us in the way,
Where the morning star-beams
Herald endless day;
Fear we not to follow
When we hear His voice;
In His Name we triumph,
In His love rejoice. [Refrain]

3 Onward now, believing
That His boundless power
Surely will uphold us
Thro’ the darkest hour;
Let our glad hosannas
More and more increase,
Till we see His glory
In the Land of Peace. [Refrain]
