Representative Text

1 Only to know Thou art mine, Lord,
When I am tempted and tried;
Only to know Thou art near me,
My wav’ring footsteps to guide.

Refrain:
Only to know Thou art mine, Lord,
Only to know Thou art mine;
Fills me with joy, naught of earth can destroy,
Only to know Thou art mine.

2 Only to know Thou art mine, Lord,
When light is flooding my day;
Earth’s joys seem sweeter and lighter,
Treading life’s dark, rugged way. [Refrain]

3 Only to know Thou art mine, Lord,
When life’s dark shadows shall fall;
Only in faith to behold Thee,
Know Thou art all and in all. [Refrain]
