Over the Billows Light Is Streaming

1 O’er the billows light is streaming,
From the harbor of the blest,
Where that radiance is beaming,
By and by we’ll sweetly rest.

Refrain:
From the happy coast of heaven
Light is shining while we roam,
‘Tis a beacon God has given,
Guiding life’s way-farers home.

2 When our perils and privation
On the waves of time are o’er,
With glad songs of exultation,
We shall moor by yonder shore. [Refrain]

3 Swiftly onward we are gliding,
To the bright immortal land,
In our Saviour’s care confiding,
We shall reach that blessed strand. [Refrain]
