O Sinner, Hear the Clarion Cry

Representative Text

1 O sinner, hear the clarion cry
Of sin-atoning grace,
And turn to God– why will you die?
O seek your Saviour's face.

Refrain:
Sinner, repent and come today,
Now is the accepted time;
No longer put the truth away
Accept this grace sublime.

2 O wretched sinner, hear today
This gracious call divine,
And turn to God without delay,
And make salvation thine. [Refrain]

3 O humble sinner, ne'er despair,
This call is made to thee;
Whoever will God's love may share
Thro'out eternity. [Refrain]

4 Believing sinner, speak today;
Your faith in Christ confess;
The Spirit will your doubts allay,
And seal your righteousness. [Refrain]
