Representative Text

1 O how bright will the light of that blessed day shine,
How great will the gathering be,
When the children of Jesus from far and from near
Shall meet by the pure crystal sea.

Refrain:
O faith summer day, O beautiful day,
How grand will Thy dawning be;
How great will the gath’ring of children appear,
When they stand by the fair crystal sea,
When they stand by the fair
When they stand by the fair crystal sea.

2 Then the buds all unfolded forever shall bloom,
The blossoms sweet fragrance yield;
When He make us His jewels how brightly we’ll shine,
His glorious presence revealed. [Refrain]

3 And the glittering spires of the city of gold
Will echo the chorus of song,
That shall rise from the hearts of the glorified ones,
When they enter the palace of song. [Refrain]

4 O the wonderful vision it fills us with joy,
How great will the gathering be,
When the children of Jesus from far and from near
Shall stand by the fair crystal sea. [Refrain]
