Representative Text

1 Lord Jesus, low we bow
Before Thy mercy-seat,
Beseeching Thee to give us now
Thy benediction sweet.

2 Thou knowest every need,
In every waiting heart;
O, Thou who dost for sinners plead,
Thy blessing now impart!

3 So shall we leave this place,
As still “in touch” with Thee;
So shall the fulness of Thy grace,
Our light in darkness be.

4 Be Thou our Sun and Shield,
Our safe abiding Place,
Until in heaven we see revealed
The beauty of Thy face.
