Representative Text

1 List to the call of the Savior,
Wand’rer in sin’s dark night
Reach out your hand in the darkness,
Jesus will lead to the light.

Chorus:
Follow the light, follow the light,
Ye who are wand’ring in sin’s dark night;
Follow the light, follow the light,
Follow it closely by faith, not by sight.

2 Pitfalls and snares are around you,
Dang’rous the path that you tread;
You will go down to perdition,
Unless by Jesus you’re led. [Chorus]

3 Thousands who’ve wandered in darkness,
Rather than follow the light,
Find themselves hopelessly groping
In lands of unending night. [Chorus]

4 Narrow and straight is the pathway,
Up to the gates of day;
Following Jesus closely,
You cannot lose the way. [Chorus]
