Representative Text

1 Let us shout and sing hallelujah
To the glorious King of heav’n,
While we march along,
In His strength made strong,
To the battle ‘gainst the wrong.

Refrain:
On the vict’ry side,
On the vict’ry side
In the midst of the fight we stand;
On the vict’ry side
WE will still abide
Till we reach the promised land.

2 Let us shout and sing hallelujah
For the welcome promise giv’n
Of a battle won
At the set of sun,
And the reign of peace begun. [Refrain]

3 We will shout and sing hallelujah,
For the dawn of day we see
When the armies bright
Of the King of light
Triumph in the cause of right. [Refrain]
