Representative Text

1 Let my steps be light and free,
Walking as the Spirit leads,
Blessed joy and liberty,
Walking as the Spirit leads.

Refrain:
Day by day, come what may,
Grace abounding, for my needs;
Strength to stay, all the way,
Walking as the Spirit leads.

2 In His Word, a guiding light;
Walking as the Spirit leads,
Starry beams for ev’ry night,
Walking as the Spirit leads. [Refrain]

3 Teaching me the Father’s will,
Walking as the Spirit leads,
Helping me to do it still
Walking as the Spirit leads. [Refrain]

4 Now am I God’s happy child,
Walking as the Spirit leads,
Pardoned, cleansed and reconciled
Walking as the Spirit leads. [Refrain]
