Representative Text

1 Jesus loves the children
With a tender care;
Bring them to that Shepherd,
In his arms to bear.

Chorus:
To the sunny places
He will lead their feet,
By the flowing river,
With their waters sweet.

2 He will teach them always,
Lessons of his truth;
By his loving wisdom,
Guards their tender youth.

Chorus:
When the storm is raging
Wildly o'er the plain,
He will keep them safely,
Till 'tis clear again.

3 Would you work for Jesus,
Would you do his will,
Bring the children to him,
Safe from earthly ill.

Chorus:
Thus your crowns of beauty,
You shall win at last,
When life's toilsome journey
Shall be overpassed.
