I Believe It

Representative Text

1 I believe it, yes, I'll trust Him,
I will trust my risen Lord;
I will rest upon the promise of His word;
I will hearken to the message, for His death hath set me free,
Nevermore a child of darkness will I be.

Refrain:
Jesus, my Lord, suffered for me,
Died for my sins, now I am free!
Jesus, my Lord, suffered for me,
Died for my sins, now I am free!

2 I believe it, yes, I'll trust Him,
As the eunuch did of old,
And will follow in His footsteps day by day;
Needed grace He will supply me, in the Gospel I am told,
And His Spirit guide and comfort all the way. [Refrain]

3 I believe it, I will trust Him,
And confess my Saviour now,
For my sins on Him the Father all hath laid;
And my heart in true repentance at the throne of grace doth bow,
Trusting in the full atonement He hath made. [Refrain]
