Representative Text

1 I am trav’ling tow’rd the Land of Day,
Trusting in the Saviour as my stay;
Sin and death behind me,
In His ranks you’ll find me,
Shouting hallelujah all the way!

Refrain:
Shouting hallelujah all the way!
Shouting hallelujah all the way!
Guilt and sin forgiven
I am bound for heaven,
Shouting hallelujah all the way!

2 Satan bids me falter and delay,
Jesus bids me follow and obey—
Sin shall rule me never,
I will trust Him ever,
Shouting hallelujah all the way! [Refrain]

3 All around is fear and deep dismay;
In my soul there’s everlasting day!
Morning breaks before me,
Soon I’ll enter glory,
Shouting hallelujah all the way! [Refrain]
