Representative Text

1 Helmet on and sword in hand,
Looking unto Jesus;
We His little soldiers stand,
Looking unto Jesus.

Chorus:
Oh, the joy, the heav’nly joy,
Looking unto Jesus,
We shall find in His employ,
Looking unto Jesus.

2 Faith our shield, and girt with truth,
Looking unto Jesus;
Serving Him in joyous youth,
Looking unto Jesus. [Chorus]

3 Fiery darts on ev’ry hand,
Looking unto Jesus,
Daring all, we still shall stand,
Looking unto Jesus. [Chorus]

4 Praying always, with all pray’r,
Looking unto Jesus,
Watching thereunto with care,
Looking unto Jesus. [Chorus]
