Representative Text

1 Have a purpose as you pass along,
Journeying upon life’s way;
Take the word of Jesus as your guide,
Do His will each day.

Refrain:
Lives of purpose, lives of prayer,
Such are needed ev’rywhere,
Lives that have an aim in view,
Loyal hearts, to Jesus true.

2 Lift the fallen, point them to the King,
Lend the weak a helping hand;
Asking daily for the Spirit’s pow’r,
Firm for Jesus stand. [Refrain]

3 Strength for labor, Jesus will provide,
Fear not then nor falt’ring be,
Looking upward, tho’ the foe assail,
On to victory. [Refrain]
