Ha pasado el día

Representative Text

1 Ha pasado el día,
Y el anochecer
Viene con su sombra
Para todo ser.

2 Cólmanos, ¡oh Cristo!,
De tu bendición;
De cualquier peligro
Guárdanos, Señor.

3 Guarda Tú al viajero
En su transitar,
De los infortunios
De aire, tierra y mar.

4 A los pequeñuelos
(Tuyos son, Jesús)
Dígnate guardarlos
Para ver la luz.

5 Al rayar el alba,
Hazlos despertar
Bajo tu cuidado,
Para no pecar.

6 Gloria sea al Padre,
A Jesús loor,
Y alabanza eterna
Al Consolador.

Amén.

In some hymnals, the editors noted that a hymn's author is unknown to them, and so this artificial "person" entry is used to reflect that fact. Obviously, the hymns attributed to "Author Unknown" "Unknown" or "Anonymous" could have been written by many people over a span of many centuries. Go to person page >
