Representative Text

1 Great is the King, and greatly to be praised,
He leadeth on His hosts to victory,
Come all ye ransomed join this conqu’ring band,
Shouting loud hosannas ‘till the world is free.

Chorus:
Rally now my brother hear the trumpet call, obey,
Jesus, glorious King is leading on to victory.

2 Great is the King, and greatly to be praised,
He in His glory now unsheathes His sword,
Let no one falter but with courage bold,
Follow close beside Him, trusting in His word. [Chorus]

3 Great is the King, and greatly to be praised,
See all the hosts of sin are giving way,
Rally my brother, hear the trumpet call,
Ev’ry man to duty and we’ll win the day. [Chorus]
