Representative Text

1 God is calling us to move in serried ranks today,
He is calling, ever calling, “Onward to the fray!”
What our Captain bids us do, we hasten to obey;
With Him is vict’ry forever.

Refrain:
Move on! move on!
The King’s triumphant host;
Move on! move on!
Each soldier to His post!
In His matchless name we conquer,
In His pow’r we boast;
On with our mighty Commander!

2 With undaunted courage march against the alien host;
Forward to the battle, comrades! their defence is lost;
Clad in armor all divine, and counting not the cost,
On with our King to the battle! [Refrain]

3 Glory, glory, hallelujah! we will join to sing
Praises to the peerless name of our eternal King,
Till we meet around the throne our trophies home to bring,
Lauding our mighty Commander. [Refrain]
