Representative Text

1 Gentle Savior, hear me when I pray,
Be my strength and stay,
Guide me ev’ry day;
Lead me gently lest I go astray
From the narrow way.

Refrain:
Ev’ry day I need Thee,
I will ever heed Thee,
Take my hand and lead me
Through this narrow way.

2 Loving Savior, I will follow Thee,
Follow safe and free,
Where Thy steps I see;
I will go where Thou doest call for me,
In the narrow way. [Refrain]

3 Mighty Savior, keep me ev’ry hour,
Leaning on Thy arm,
Guard me from all harm;
Humbly trusting in Thy love and pow’r
In the narrow way. [Refrain]

4 Coming Savior, faithful I would be,
Watching for Thy call,
Crown Thee Lord of all;
Soon to glory Thou wilt summon me
From the narrow way. [Refrain]
