Representative Text

1 Forward now! Pass the word along,
Forward now! Sing the victor’s song!
Armor gleaming bright,
Fighting for the right,
Faith and hope will make you strong.

Chorus:
Forward today!
Hasten away!
Labor and pray!
Serve while you may!
March with a song,
Praises prolong;
Faith and hope will make you strong.

2 Fear no foe! Trust your Lord and King!
Onward go! Pray and trust and sing!
Onward in his might,
Onward day and night,
Faith to all your service bring. [Chorus]

3 Time flies by: Haste, O haste away!
Night draws nigh: Haste, while yet ‘tis day!
Soldiers, now rejoice!
Hear your Captain’s voice,
Saying he will guide alway. [Chorus]
