Förlossningen är vunnen Guds Son från evighet

Representative Text

1 Förlossningen är vunnen
Guds Son från evighet
Af Fadern är upprunnen
Till världens salighet.
Hans är den morgonstjärna,
Som lysa kan och värna
I mörker och i kval.

2 Han mämmosla är vorden.
En lofva nådatid
Har uppgått öfver jorden
Med ljus och hopp och fird.
Nu dödens makt är krossad
och syndens boja lossad
Och öppnad himlens port.

3 O Kriste! oss benåda,
Så att i tron vi må
Ljus i din sannings skåda,
Lif af din kärlek få.
Till dig vårt hjärta längtar
Från världens flärd det trängtar
Till din rättfärdighet.
