Representative Text

1 Fling out the Royal banner!
High let the bright cross wave!
He who was born to conquer
Mighty is to redeem and save.
Faithful and true forever,
Follow wheree’er he goes,
And in his heavenly power,
Ye shall triumph o’er all your foes.

Honor and sweetest praise to him
Our Savior King be given,
By all his soldiers here on earth
And all his saints in heaven.

Refrain:
Fling out the Royal banner!
High let the bright cross wave.
He who was born to conquer,
Mighty is to redeem and save!

2 Now hear the Royal watchword!
Hear, and the word obey,
There is but one to save you
In the midst of the deadly fray.
Only be firm and faithful,
Yield not to doubt nor fear,
And whatsoe’er the danger,
You will find that your Lord is near. [Refrain]
