Representative Text

1 Ev’ry cloud has a silver lining,
Ev’ry storm has a rainbow bright,
When His love in my heart is shining,
When the Lord is my living light.

Refrain:
Ev’ry cloud has a silver lining,
Rainbows bright will His grace proclaim,
When His love in my heart is shining,
I will praise His holy name.

2 Ev’ry night has a star of glory,
Shining on till the dawn of day;
When I sing His salvation story;
Jesus brightens the darkest way. [Refrain]

3 Always, somewhere, the flow’rs are springing;
Buds of promise unfold for me;
Always, somewhere, the birds are singing;
Jesus smiles and the shadows flee. [Refrain]
