1 Ee moyo wangu amka,
mwimbie Muumba wako,
aliyetupa neema,
atulindaye sote.

2 Nilipolala leo
usiku, wewe Baba
umenilinda vema,
sikuwa na hatari.

3 Wasema: "Mtoto wangu
usiogope kitu,
ulale usingizi,
nitakuamsha kesho."

4 Nimevipata vile
ulivyoniambia.
Naona mchana tena
na nguvu na uzima.

5 Nilipe jinsi gani
ulivyonitendea?
Nakupa moyo wangu
sina kizuri zaidi.

6 Huwezi kukataa
kipaji kama hicho.
Wajua kama sina
mengine ya kukupa.

7 Maliza kazi yako
uliyoanza kwangu,
tuma malaika wako
anikingie msiba.

8 Kubali nitendayo,
unipe shauri jema.
Kuanza na kuisha
ni shauri lako, Bwana.

9 Unibariki leo,
nishike njia yako.
Nenolo la uzima
liniongoze kwako.
