Representative Text

1 Do you know the mighty Saviour thron’d above,
Never changing in His wisdom, pow’r and love,
Will deliver you today,
When for “Present help” your pray;
Do you know that He is able now to save?

Refrain:
Yes, I know that He is able;
Yes, I know that He is willing;
He is able, He is willing;
He is able to deliver even me.

2 Do you know He overcometh ev’ry foe,
As when Daniel prov’d His God, so long ago?
When temptations round you throng,
Is He still your strength and song?
Do you know that He is able now to save? [Refrain]

3 Do you know He evermore will keep His own,
That the trusting soul He will not leave alone?
In your trials, day by day,
Cares and dangers by the way,
Do you know that He is able now to save? [Refrain]
