Representative Text

1 Dear Lord, by the might of Thy Spirit Divine,
Help us to help others today;
O, grant that Thy light may thro’ us freely shine,
Help us to help others today.

Refrain:
Help us to help others today,
To save some from life’s downward way;
Help us to be faithful and work while we pray,
Help us to help others today.

2 Speak Thou thro’ our lips when Thy message we bring;
Help us to help others today;
And make our lives tell for our Saviour and King;
Help us to help others today. [Refrain]

3 With hearts overflowing, O Lord, with Thy love,
Help us to help others today;
Endue us with wisdom and pow’r from above,
Help us to help others today. [Refrain]

4 To make this world brighter with heavenly rays,
Help us to help others today;
To waken new songs for eternity’s days,
Help us to help others today. [Refrain]
