Meu Pae

Representative Text

1. Coragem! alma vil:
Que acabe o temor;
A Hostia divinal
Do infinito amor—
Meu Fiador no céu está;
A minha causa advoga lá.

2. Perante meu Juiz
Elle intercede por mim.
"A minha morte," diz,
"Meu sangue carmezim,
Que derramei por seu amor,
Resgate o pobre peccador."

3. As tristes chagas traz,
Que recebeu na cruz,
São penhor efficaz;
Me valem vida e luz.
"Ó, perdoae," é seu clamor,
"Ao resgatado peccador!"

4. Se ouve a oração
Do amado Redemptor;
Ao Pae mui gratos são
Os rogos de amor.
Responde o Espirito de luz,
E diz que filho sou de Deus.

5.Meu Deus, tu amas-me;
Eu sinto teu perdão;
Teu filho chamas-me,
Receios já lá vão.
Com confiança venho aqui,
E "Pae, meu Pae," eu chamo-te.
