Representative Text

1 Come we now with hearts rejoicing,
Homage to our King to pay;
While all nature praise is voice,
On this blessed Sabbath Day.

Chorus:
Welcome, glad day,
Glorious day!
Hither we come to learn to meekly follow Jesus;
Unto the King
Praises we bring,
On this blessed Sabbath Day.

2 “Glory be to God our Father,”
Happy birds and blossoms say;
We will join their cheerful anthems
On this glorious Sabbath Day. [Chorus]

3 We would learn to follow Jesus,
And his blessed will obey;
Walking in our Savior’s footsteps
On this holy Sabbath Day. [Chorus]
