Author: A. J. Abbey
Published in 1 hymnal

Representative Text

1 Come to the Saviour, children today,
Jesus invites you, says, "I am the way;"
Hear his glad message, grieve not his love;
Prepare while on earth for the Eden above.

Refrain:
The Eden above, The Eden above,
Prepare while on earth for the Eden above.
The Eden above, The Eden above,
Prepare while on earth for the Eden above.

2 Jesus will suffer children to come,
He is preparing a beautiful home;
If you would enter, He is the gate;
Oh, seek the dear Saviour before 'tis too late. [Refrain]

3 See how He carried children of old,
See how he gathered them into his fold;
Come for a blessing, even today;
'Tis Jesus that calls you and He is the way. [Refrain]

4 No one can guard you,no one can guide,
No one can always remain by your side.
No one but Christ, then seek Him today,
For He will go with you, since He is the way. [Refrain]
