Representative Text

1 Clad in all the armor of the King of kings,
We’re marching on, still marching on;
Of our captain’s mighty pow’r each warrior sings,
There’s vict’ry all the way.

Refrain:
To the golden street,
Sounding no retreat,
A Captain who has never known defeat
Leads his armies on
Till the crown be won:
There’s vict’ry all the way.

2 With the Spirit’s sword we bravely march along,
We forward go, yes, forward go;
In our great Commander we are more than strong
To vanquish ev’ry foe. [Refrain]

3 Storming all the battlements of pride and sin,
We onward move, yes, onward move;
Zion’s golden gate we soon shall enter in
For thrones prepared above. [Refrain]
