Representative Text

1 By the blood on the cross of Calvary,
I am saved by His sacrifice for me;
But I longed for a richer, deeper flow—
The fulness of His blessing I was hungry to know.

Refrain:
Above the world I’m living,
My best to Jesus given,
I’m happy in Freedom that He to me has giv’n;
The word that he has spoken,
Has ev’ry fetter broken,
And ev’ry moment of my life’s a blessing from heav’n.

2 Joy is mine from the fountain head of love,
Gift divine that I prize all else above;
Peace I knew that I never tho’t could be,
‘Twas when His Spirit gave the word of Freedom to me. [Refrain]

3 Would you know all the fulness of your Lord,
Would you dwell in the riches of His word?
Now believe ev’ry promise made is true,
Accept the blessed Freedom which He offers to you. [Refrain]
