Representative Text

1 Be a loving helper ev’rywhere you go,
Helping readily, helping readily;
Bearing heaven’s sunshine, face and heart aglow,
Whatsoever winds may blow.

Refrain:
Go, go, with a willing heart,
Some sweet joy impart,
Go, go, let love brighten each hour;
God will give you wisdom and pow’r;
Helping ev’rywhere that you go,
As the Saviour did in His life below,
Go, go, go.

2 Be a loving helper in a world of need,
Helping readily, helping readily;
In His happy service, let the Master lead,
Prompting ev’ry word and deed. [Refrain]

3 Be a loving helper, reach a kindly hand,
Helping readily, helping readily;
Cheer a lonely neighbor who may near you stand,
Learn the Master’s “new” command. [Refrain]
