Representative Text

1 Are we mindful of our duty while the days are going by?
Are we pointing those who wander, to the pathways of the sky?
Are we trusting in the Saviour who for sinners came to die?
Let us all be true and faithful, day by day.

Refrain:
Day by day let us be faithful,
Let us to our trust be true,
In the vineyard of the Master
There is work for all to do.

2 Are we ready when for Jesus we could speak a joyful word?
Are we by another’s sorrow into love and kindness stirred?
Are we mindful of the goodness and the mercy of the Lord?
Let us all be true and faithful, day by day. [Refrain]

3 O the days are swiftly passing: there is work for each and all,
For the harvest field is ready, and we hear the Master’s call!
Let us bravely work for Jesus till the evening shadows fall,
Let us all be true and faithful, day by day. [Refrain]
