Representative Text

1 All my sins are washed away
By the blood of Jesus,
And my heart is cleansed today,
By the blood of Jesus.
There’s a fountain opened wide
By the Master crucified.
From his precious, wounded side
Flows the blood of Jesus.

Refrain:
O the blood, the precious blood,
Wondrous grace bestowing!
All my sins are washed away
By the fountain flowing.

2 Now my heart is free from sin,
Thro’ the blood of Jesus,
I am clean and pure within—
Precious blood of Jesus!
Tho’ my soul was dark as night,
Jesus’ presence gives me light,
And his blood has made me white—
Precious blood of Jesus! [Refrain]

3 O my brother, is thy soul
Cleansed and saved by Jesus?
Come today and be made whole
By the blood of Jesus.
Tho’ thy soul be lost in sin,
Jesus’ blood can enter in,
And can make thee pure and clean—
Precious blood of Jesus! [Refrain]
