Jesus, Thou soul of all our joys
O Righteous, in the Lord Rejoice

And brought her to him as a bride,
And willed them to be one.
3 O holy wedlock, ratified

How free from every anxious thought,

To rob my Savior of a part,

Only betrothed to Christ am I,
